Reseña Biográfica

Nacido en la Ciudad de México en 1975, es Doctor en Ciencias de la Computación por el Instituto Politécnico Nacional de México. Es investigador en el Centro de Investigación en Computación del IPN. Autor de al rededor de 80 artículos científicos en congresos y revistas especializadas. Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores Nivel 1. Ha dirigido proyectos de investigación básica y de desarrollo tecnológico con instituciones nacionales. Sus áreas de interés comprenden la representación del conocimiento y el procesamiento de información semántica.

Born in Mexico City in 1975, he obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico. He is a researcher at the Center for Computing Research of the IPN. Author of around 80 scientific papers in conferences and journals. He is a member, level 1, of the National System of Researchers (SNI) from the Mexican Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). He has conducted basic research projects and technological development with national institutions. He has directed about twenty graduate thesis in his areas of interest that include knowledge representation and processing of semantic information.
